At the meeting of the Board of Directors on August 27th, 2018, it was decided to enact level 1, voluntary conservation measures due to the apparent need to conserve water. It has become apparent to the board of directors that there is a need to conserve water, based on measurements that show our water table has receded to some of the lowest levels on record. Also, precipitation during the 2017/2018 rain year was recorded at a total of 4.73”, this is the least precipitation FPWeather.com has recorded since they began recording in 2003. Several other weather stations in the area confirm these low precipitation values. Please read the following excerpt from the newly adopted Water Apportionment Plan to familiarize yourself with the requested conservation measures. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!
